Unfair Automobile pricing in India
It surprises me that a average IT consultant in USA can afford a Honda Civic and the likes but cannot afford one in India. To demonstrate this unfair pricing i am taking the civic but please note that most automobile companies follow the same policy. Honda Civic costs $15000(abt Rs 7 Lakhs) but in India its priced at Rs 12 Lakhs. If you do the math on the 30% imported parts, it should still end up around the same price as in US of A. But this pricing in India defies all logic. Manufacturers claim Metal Prices, Logistics, Inflation....God knows what more
